📄️ SMTP Mail Server
Qalyptus Server can send emails to users to inform them of the availability of their reports. However, you must first configure the SMTP server that Qalyptus Server uses to send emails. To configure SMTP, follow the steps below :
📄️ Security Roles
When you add users to Qalyptus Server, you must apply a role to them. Roles are the maximum level of access that a user can have on Qalyptus Server. With permissions, the role determines who can publish, edit, delete, or just view content, or who can manage users and administer.
📄️ Organizations
This feature brings a lot of flexibility to the management of your users and content in Qalyptus. You can create several organizations to separate the users and the content (Projects, reports, tasks, resources, Qlik Apps). Each organization will have its members, content, authentication types, and theme.
📄️ Storage Services
Qalyptus Server allows you to save generated reports in folders, in remote servers using FTP and SFTP, and in public Cloud storage services: SharePoint, OneDrive, Google Drive, and Dropbox.
📄️ Backup and Restore
A Qalyptus Server administrator must perform regular database maintenance, monitor disk usage on the server, delete unnecessary files, and back up Qalyptus Server and its data. Through these steps, you ensure the maximum efficiency of Qalyptus Server.
📄️ Identity Providers
In addition to authentication with Windows credentials and email/password, Qalyptus supports SSO authentication with SAML 2 using Identity Providers (Okta, Auth0, etc.) and JWT.
📄️ Trusted Origins
With Qalyptus Server API, you can do actions, like running tasks, from external web applications. For security reasons, you can choose the list of addresses allowed to make calls to your Qalyptus Server.
📄️ Authentication
Authentication verifies the identity of a user. Everyone who needs access to Qalyptus Server, whether to manage the server, publish, browse, or administer a content, must be added as a user to the Qalyptus repository. The authentication method can be performed with Qalyptus credentials or Windows credentials. In all cases, each user identity must be represented in the Qalyptus Server repository.
