Trusted Origins Configuration

Overview​

Trusted Origins in Qalyptus Server implement Cross-Origin Resource Sharing (CORS) policies to control which external web applications can make API calls to your Qalyptus Server. This security feature ensures that only authorized domains can access Qalyptus Server functionality while preventing unauthorized cross-origin requests.

Adding Trusted Origins​

To configure a trusted origin for secure API access:

  • Navigate to Administration > System > Trusted Origins
  • Click Create origin and Configure Origin Details
  • Name: Enter a descriptive identifier for the origin
  • Description (optional): Add context about the origin's purpose and usage
  • Address: Specify the complete URL or domain pattern. Use a Complete URL: https://qlik-server.company.com
  • Review the address format for accuracy
  • Click Save to add the trusted origin
