Qalyptus Hub

Qalyptus Hub is the end-user web portal included with Qalyptus Server. It provides a single access point where users can view, download, and subscribe to reports, and access their synchronized Qlik Sense applications.

When you connect to Qalyptus Server, you are automatically redirected to the Hub.

Custom Theme​

The appearance of Qalyptus Hub can be customized to match your company's branding, including colors and logo.

Home​

The Home page displays:

  • The 6 most recently added or viewed reports
  • The 6 most recently favorited reports

This gives users a quick starting point for their most relevant content.

Apps​

The Applications page lists all synchronized Qlik Sense applications. As in Qlik Sense Hub, each user sees only the applications they are authorized to access in Qlik Sense.

Report files​

The Reports page displays all reports the current user has permission to view. Reports can be previewed, downloaded, favorited, subscribed to, or deleted from this page.

Favorites​

The Favorites page lists all reports marked as favorites by the current user. To remove a report from favorites, click the star icon next to the report name.

Subscriptions​

The Subscriptions page lists all active report subscriptions, both those created by the user and those set up by an administrator. From this page, you can:

  • Edit a subscription to change its format, schedule, or message
  • Unsubscribe to stop receiving a report

Resources​

The Resources page contains links to external files and documents configured by administrators, such as PDF files in shared folders or links to SharePoint documents.

Actions​

Preview a report​

Click the report name to open a preview directly in the browser.

View version history​

Reports can retain multiple versions depending on the maximum number of occurrences configured during task setup. To access previous versions:

  1. Click the Action menu for the report
  2. Click Version History

A list of all available versions is displayed, each with its generation date.

Download a report​

To download a report:

  • Click the Action menu for the report, then click Download, or
  • Open the report preview and click the Download button in the top-right corner

The Download option is only available if you have the required permissions.

Mark a report as a favorite​

Click the star icon next to a report name to add it to your favorites. Click the star again to remove it. Favorited reports appear on the Home and Favorites pages for quick access.

Subscribe to a report​

Subscriptions allow you to receive a report by email on a recurring schedule.

To create a subscription:

  1. Click the Action menu for the report
  2. Click Subscribe
  3. In the dialog that appears:
    • Select the output Format
    • Enter an email Subject
    • Optionally add a Message
    • In Schedule, choose the frequency: Hourly, Daily, Weekly, or Monthly
  4. Click Subscribe

The time zone used for the subscription schedule is the one defined in your user profile.

Delete a report​

Deleting a report removes all of its versions from Qalyptus Hub.

To delete a report:

  1. Click the Action menu for the report
  2. Click Delete
  3. Confirm the deletion

The Delete option is only available if you have the required permissions.
