Publish a project to multiple Qalyptus Server environments
With this release, you can now publish a Qalyptus Desktop project to multiple Qalyptus Server environments seamlessly. By using "Linked Connections," you can assign the corresponding connection for each Qalyptus Server environment. A linked connection includes the Qlik Sense server URL, the Qlik Sense App ID, and the Qlik Sense user credentials, which will be replaced automatically when publishing to the selected environment.
Support a custom SFTP port
With this release, you can use a port different from the default (22) for an SFTP connection.
Maintain SharePoint/OneDrive connection (after 90 days)
Microsoft has introduced an expiration date (90 days) for SharePoint and OneDrive connections. After creating a connection to SharePoint/OneDrive in the Qalyptus account, Qalyptus will periodically ask Microsoft services to keep the connection alive; this saves you from reconnecting the service manually in Qalyptus.
Support Saving files on Google Drive team drives
Before this release, you could save files to personal and shared folders in Google Drive. With this release, you can save files to Team Drives, which can only be created with a Google Workspace account.
Improve Google Drive reconnection and create new connections
Before this release, an error occurred when you tried to reconnect an existing connection to your Google Drive account or when you tried to create a new connection to the same Google account. With this release, the two issues are fixed.
Keep Qalyptus Server settings after upgrade
With this release, any modifications made to the QalyptusServer.exe.config and Config.ini files in the installation folder will no longer be overwritten during upgrades.
Introduced four retries when exporting objects
Prior to this release, if the export of an object as an image failed for any reason, Qalyptus would raise an error and stop the report generation. Now, if the export fails, Qalyptus will automatically retry up to three times before displaying an error message and stopping the generation process.
Fix search issues in the Qalyptus template editor
This release resolves issues with the search function in the Qalyptus Desktop template editor. Previously, after performing a search, users were unable to add objects or variables. Additionally, when searching within the Used tab and saving the template, Qalyptus would retain only the search results upon reopening the template file. These issues have now been fixed.
Bug fixes and improvements
- Fixed a bug that prevented creating a connection to a Qlik Sense Virtual Proxy configured with SAML authentication.
- Added detailed logging information to the Qalyptus Server log file during project publication.
